Evolution expands operations with new Live Casino studio facility in Malta

Published: 16/09/13

Evolution Gaming, the world leader in video-streamed Live Dealer gaming, has announced it is building an additional Live Casino production studio, located in Malta, to accommodate its expanding native speaking dealer services for gaming operators.

The new facility, scheduled to go live in Q1 2014, will add to the current 110-plus live table capacity of Evolution’s Live Casino studios in Riga.

According to Evolution the new Malta studio will become home to Evolution’s international dealer teams and Evolution’s native speaking dealer tables, such as London Roulette, Venezia Roulette and Svensk Roulette as well as a growing number of native-speaking tables exclusive to key licensees.

Commenting on the expansion, Evolution Chief Operating Officer Svante Liljevall said: “We needed to do this to meet the incredible level of increased demand from clients for Evolution live tables, and in particular localised Live Casino services. This new second studio, alongside in-venue studios such as our ‘Ruleta en Vivo’ facility at Casino Rincon de Pepe in Murcia, Spain, will help to ensure the continued growth of our company. In addition, the investment will further enhance the disaster recovery, business continuity and security services enjoyed by our licensees.”

Liljevall added: “With 110 live tables already streaming online Live Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat and Casino Hold’em games around the clock from our Riga studio complex, we already operate Europe’s largest single-site casino. The new Malta studio will add significant extra capacity, reinforcing our position as Europe’s leading Live Casino B2B service provider and paving the way for continued growth in Europe and in other major new markets. It promises to be a truly great facility in a convenient location, so it will make Evolution an even more attractive proposition to licensees and also to the professional dealers we recruit from around the world.”
